Ayşegül Baybars, in the ongoing current issue discussions in the general assembly of the parliament explained that they were as of yet currently in the protocol phase of the face scan systems which will be used for entries into the country and that the security cameras will begin operating this year starting from Kyrenia and Nicosia.

Baybars who emphasized the importance of camera systems in preventing and bringing crimes to light throughout the world, also recorded that starting from Kyrenia and Nicosia this and similar types of camera systems will begin operation within the year.
Baybars listed the works being done in order to increase the amount of personnel and made clear that she thought it was necessary for detailed works to be done for the retirement of guardians and the fixing of their personal rights.
Baybars who recorded that a configuration is necessary for the Police, said that, when looking at the crime data, shared that there were 11 theft and 322 drug related crimes in the public order and security sections and while comparing Malta and Southern Cyprus said that, “We must increase security without saying we are better”.
